Program Description:
Formerly: Telecommunications - Radio Broadcast Operations

The curriculum prepares students to work in radio broadcast operations. Course work covers operation of radio broadcast master control consoles and associated equipment, operation of radio automation systems, preparation and administration of the Radio Operator's Certification exam offered by the Society of Broadcast Engineers, operation of field recording equipment.

Radio students are prepared for employment as disc jockeys, radio master controls operators, and field technicians.

An Occupational Skills Certificate is awarded upon completion of all required courses with a grade of C or better.
